1920 - 1933: Alcohol Prohibition

Carol Hutcherson, the current owner, was told that her home was a party house for Conrail workers during prohibition and that Lucky Barton owned the house and was shot in the knees and died. Lucky Barton is listed as living here in the 1977-78 Dearborn Directory, which states that Lucky is employed by Con Rail.

This permit is granted on the express condition that the said construction shall in all respects, conform to the Ordinances of the City of Fordson, regarding the construction of buildings, and may be revoked at any time upon the violation of any of the provisions of said ordinances.
