A DHM Facebook post by Zobraziť viac, mentions a fued in November 1929 between Leo Schaefer and Judge Lila Neuenfelt, Dearborn's Justices of the Peace, over who would take on certain cases. Judge Neuenfelt had Judge Schaefer's clerk arrested for contempt of court after withholding files from her,. This was followed in December by a petition asking for the removal of Judge Schaefer from office for drunkenness and having a bar in his home (1928 Rae Walter case newsclip and 12-1929 Freep Revenge Clip).
